My favourite yoga sequence.
Author’s Note:
This post was written several years ago, back when my focus was on Body Love — encouraging women to move their bodies with kindness.
Since then, my practice and teaching have evolved into what I now call Body Tenderness — a gentler, more intuitive approach that honours how our bodies feel today rather than how we wish they looked.
I’ve kept this post here as part of my journey, and because this simple Warrior sequence is still one of my favourites.
The Practice
One of the most important ways to care for your body is through regular, nourishing movement. Our bodies are designed to move — not to punish or prove, but to feel alive.
This short yoga flow will strengthen and centre you while bringing calm through slow, intentional breathing. You’ll feel grounded, energised, and connected — perfect if you only have a few minutes minutes but still want to reconnect with yourself.
A Gentle Reminder
If you try this sequence and it feels too strong, know that you can always soften the edges — pause, breathe, skip a pose, or simply watch and imagine yourself moving.
That too is yoga.
If you enjoyed this sequence you might like book an in-person class.
