My coaching services

I am a certified health coach, yoga life coach, intuitive eating counsellor, personal trainer, Reiki Master, and yoga teacher.  I have a certificate in Accessible Yoga and am a member of the Association for Size Diversity and Health. I am also currently studying to complete a Diploma in Counselling.  I am a member of the International Institute for Complementary Therapies and have comprehensive insurance.

My qualifications and experience make me a good fit for anyone who is looking to improve their health and well-being by taking a compassionate, health-at-every-size approach.  I will help you start or reengage with healthy habits, including gentle nutrition & exercise, stress management, sleep hygiene, and mindfulness techniques.  My counselling style uses techniques from the Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Solutions Focused Therapy schools and will require you to participate in therapeutic exercises during and in between sessions.  If you don’t feel able to commit to participate in short “homework” tasks then I might not be the coach for you.

 

We can work together on an ad-hoc basis when you are needing extra support during a stressful period, over 6-8 weeks to help you achieve a short-term life goal, or for a longer term like 12 sessions or more to help you create new a new mindset towards yourself, your body, and your future.
