Hi, I’m Emma.
I teach gentle yoga and host soul-soothing retreats in Albany, Western Australia & Bali — especially for women over 40 who are craving space to breathe.
I started practicing yoga a few weeks after my dad died, when I was 25. Not because I thought it would heal me, but because there was a studio across the road. I had no idea that stepping onto that mat would quietly, consistently change my life—not by making everything perfect, but by helping me be okay with the mess.
Over the past 25+ years, yoga has helped me embrace my changing body. It’s helped me manage chronic pain. It’s helped me recover from burnout. It’s helped me move through grief. It’s helped me come home to myself.
Before I became a teacher, I was a stressed-out corporate exec navigating disordered eating & stage 4 endometriosis, pressure to perform, and the slow ache of disconnection. I’m still a work in progress—but yoga has taught me compassion and acceptance, and that alone has changed everything.
Now, with over 10 years of teaching and 5+ years hosting retreats, I create gentle, welcoming spaces where women—especially those who are tired, hurting, or unsure—can show up exactly as they are. No headstands. No pressure. No need to be “fixed.”
I may not know your exact experience, but I understand the hard things: burnout, aging, chronic pain, grief. I hold space for you to rest, move, breathe, and remember that you are worthy of care, just as you are.
You’re so welcome here. ❤️
