Hey love,

I know what you're probably thinking. “A retreat sounds dreamy, but I don’t have the time. Or the money. Or the energy. Or the [insert very valid reason here].”

I get it. Truly. There’s laundry on the couch, work piling up, a dog that needs walking (hi Barney 🐾), and somehow it’s already June.

But can I offer a gentle reframe?

A retreat isn’t about escaping your life. It’s about remembering yourself inside it.

It’s about taking a pause long enough to hear what you actually need—beneath the noise, the doing, the pleasing, the coping.

It’s about catching your breath before you burn out.
It’s about letting your nervous system exhale for once.
It’s about choosing rest before it’s forced upon you.

We don’t wait until the car breaks down to put petrol in it. We fill it up regularly—so it can keep going.

And you, my love, are not a machine.

You’re a living, breathing, feeling human being.
Even more deserving of care, softness, and steady refuelling.

Because unlike a car, you can’t just swap out parts when you burn out.

You deserve rest before the warning light starts blinking.

So, f you’ve been craving space to think.
To move your body gently.
To be taken care of instead of doing all the caretaking.
To feel like you again...

Then maybe this is your invitation. Or at least your reminder:

You don’t have to earn a retreat.

You just have to listen to the part of you whispering,
“Please. I need this.”

And if you're reading this and nodding along? Then yes. You’re already ready.

💗 Em
